As both mid range and flagship phones are moving towards 90Hz and 120Hz mobile display, Android 12 is focused on improving the UI experience for users. Google even claims that Android 12 is the biggest design change in the history of android. A huge priority has been given to widgets that are both animated and beautiful. As mentioned in the cons, users have reported a few bugs with the early versions. So, if you are a flagship user, then you might have already gotten the update. There is no option to go back to previous version once you have install Android 12.

We recommend users to update to android 12 after a few weeks. As initial versions will be reported back for bugs, you will get a cleaner version of Android 12 after the open source (AOSP) project finishes. If you use a mid range phone that doesn’t have high refresh rates/RAM, we recommend you to wait until Google releases a stable version of Android 12. As the update is heavy on widgets, you may feel the slowdown in device UI after the update. But a new look improvement on Youtube, Facebook and other stock icons will definitely cater to users of all segments.

However, Android 12 has all the features and looks to satisfy android users who who wanted a colourful look for their android phones. Google also states that android 12 supports pixel first experience, which means pixel phones will always get the first update. Many Samsung, Nokia, Real and Oppo mid range phones are already rolling out with android 12 out of the box. So if you’re looking to upgrade your phone, get a new phone with Android 12 out of the box to have a new android experience, this time both on looks and performance.
